Toyota has introduced the all-new facelift of the Yaris today, with a redesigned front and some cosmetic and feature changes in the cabin, side, and back. Along with new add-ons, Indus Motors has also added 500K PKR to the invoice, which now costs 6.3 million PKR for a top-of-the-line variant.
Let’s see what we’ve got and what we’ve lost in the all-new facelift Yaris:
- Yaris 1.5L ATIV X CVT (facelift): PKR 6,319,000
- Yaris 1.5L ATIV X CVT: PKR 5,649,000
Writer’s Verdict | A Dinky Good Looking Sedan by Toyota
In our opinion, the new Yaris is a leap ahead of its previous generation. It’s now more sporty and geared more youthful and cool stylings.
It appears to be exclusive for Pakistan because this version doesn’t exist in any other country. And to be honest, it’s good to look at.
Thankfully, Toyota has finally gotten rid of the ’80s halogens and added projector LEDs. The new alloy’s design and side skirts also look pretty.
The new floating display is also a step up game from the previous generation; it’s bigger, better and now comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The cruise control add-on in the top variant lineups was also a necessary addition.
However, the invoice has also been facelifted with a 500K add-on to the previous version. But, considering it’s a Toyota car, the features, design, and tech goodies it brings with it make it a sensible option, much better than Honda City or Changan Alsvin (because Alsvin has lower resale relative to Yaris).
Compared to other vehicles in the market that either lack features or have lower resale value, this new Yaris is a good and sensible option to consider, and offers the best of both worlds!
