In the last two blogs, we compared Stoic with City and Swift. This is another follow-up of our comparison with Yaris.
Recently, KIA Lucky Motors announced a 1.5 million PKR price reduction on Stonic as a 5-year anniversary gift.
Now that it shares its price tag with the Yaris ATIV CVT 1.3 Therefore, here’s a 1-1 comparison of both cars.
Our POV on Both Cars
Both cars are of different segments. Toyota Yaris is a C-segment sedan, while the KIA Stonic is a C-segment compact crossover as per the KIA.
Stonic uses sporty, aggressive, and modern styling, while Yaris uses simple design language. This makes Stonic a preferable choice for Gen-Z and Yaris for millennials and mature people who want to secure their investment and don’t care much about the looks of their car.
Resale-wise, there’s no comparison between the two. The Yaris has a Toyota emblem on it, so its resale is not an issue. Stonic, on the other hand, can take some time to be sold in the market.
Both are good value-for-money deals in their respective segments. If you care about resale and parts availability and want a sedan car specifically, the Yaris is the best option under a 5 million budget. If you need a modern interior with sportier looks, a lot of hi-tech goodies, and a pleasure-to-drive experience, Stonic is the best choice.
