The upcoming iPhone 16 Pro may feature a new Capture Button, as suggested by a leaked case design. While not an official Apple product, the source, Sonny Dickson, has a good track record with Apple-related leaks.
On the case, there is a noticeable cutout on the right side below the power button. Interestingly, the power button has a rubber cover, while the expected Capture Button has its own cutout – this could be due to the case design or potentially a hint at the button’s functionality.

Rumors of Apple adding a Capture Button to the iPhone 16 Pro first surfaced earlier this month.
This new feature, along with the recently introduced Action Button on the left side, represents an unconventional move for Apple. The Capture Button is expected to function like a traditional camera’s shutter button with a half-press for focus and a full press for capturing photos. While Sony phones have had similar buttons in the past, this implementation is said to be more user-friendly.
