Samsung enhances EVO Select and EVO Plus microSD cards – now available in up to 1TB capacity and with read speeds of 160 MB/s

Samsung has updated its range of EVO Select, EVO Plus, and PRO Plus microSD cards with increased speed capabilities and the addition of a 1TB storage option.

The EVO Select and EVO Plus cards now feature faster read speeds of up to 160 MB/s (a 23% enhancement) and support Speed Grade 3 (U3), A2 application performance class, and video speed class V30. These cards are also resistant to water, extreme temperatures, X-rays, wear-out, drops, and magnetic impact.

The EVO Select and Pro Plus microSD cards

The PRO Plus card shares the same specifications as the EVO Select and EVO Plus but offers faster read speeds of 180 MB/s, write speeds of up to 130 MB/s, and starts at 128GB. This card is designed specifically for photographers and videographers.

The EVO Select and EVO Plus cards are currently available in their 64-512GB versions on Samsung.com. The 1TB options for the EVO Select, EVO Plus, and PRO Plus will be released later this year.
