The all-new Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has arrived, boasting numerous updates while keeping the same formula as its predecessor.
In terms of appearance, the Galaxy S24 Ultra retains a similar look to the S23 Ultra but there are some noticeable changes. The frame is now constructed of titanium alloy instead of aluminum, which makes it more durable and scratch-resistant without adding any weight – in fact, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is lighter than the S23 Ultra. With slimmer bezels, the new Ultra is also thinner and shorter, and enhancement with new Gorilla Glass Armor on the front and rear makes it even tougher and less reflective.
With a fully flat screen, glass screen protector enthusiasts will be pleased with the updated design. The device features a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a variable refresh rate and an improved Vision Booster for a brighter screen.
The Ultra model uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 across all markets, along with a larger vapor chamber for enhanced thermal performance. This new chip enables several AI features, including Live Translate, Interpreter, and Chat Assist for seamless voice and text translation in real-time.
AI features extend to various tasks, including summarizing incoming messages, making note-taking more efficient, and gesture-driven searching. The new camera system boasts enhanced hardware and a ProVision Engine powered by AI for improved photo and video quality.
When it comes to battery life, the Galaxy S24 Ultra sports a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging capabilities, 12GB of RAM, and a wide range of storage options. Running Android 14 with One UI 6.1, the S24 Ultra is guaranteed to receive 7 years of software support.
Available for pre-order in various colors, the Galaxy S24 Ultra starts at €1,450 for the 256GB model and €1,570 for the 512GB version, with free storage upgrades offered during the pre-order period.
