The Samsung Galaxy XCover7 durable smartphone was introduced last month and today it has been officially released in India, marking the first appearance of the XCover series in the country.
Both the Standard and Enterprise versions of the smartphone are available for purchase at INR27,208 ($325/€305) and INR27,530 ($330/€310) respectively. While both versions offer the same phone, they come with different warranty durations. The Standard model includes a 1-year warranty, while the Enterprise model offers a 2-year warranty and a 12-month Knox Suite subscription.
If customers of the Standard version choose to add the Knox subscription and extra warranty separately, it would result in a higher cost compared to purchasing the Enterprise model. At an extra cost, the Standard version has an additional 1-year warranty priced at INR1,800 ($22/€20) and a 12-month Knox Suite subscription at INR3,500 ($42/€40), making the Enterprise version a more economical choice.
Both versions will be available for purchase through Samsung India’s EPP portal for corporates and institutions. Bulk purchase inquiries can be directed here. Speaking of hardware, the Samsung Galaxy XCover7’s Standard and Enterprise versions are equipped with the Dimensity 6100+ SoC and run on Android 14-based One UI 6.
Both models are furnished with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage, with the option to expand up to 1TB using a microSD card. Additionally, they feature 6.6″ FullHD+ LCDs, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+ and with increased sensitivity that allows usage even when wearing gloves.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover7 boasts a 50MP primary camera and a 5MP selfie camera, and is powered by a 4,050 mAh removable battery with 15W charging (adapter not included).
Other notable features of the Samsung Galaxy XCover7 include an IP68 rating, MIL-STD-810H certification, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a programmable XCover Key for customizable shortcuts. The smartphone also includes a POGO charging pin.
