Samsung Knox has been a staple in Samsung devices for the last ten years, and now the Korean tech company has revealed that the data security framework will also be featured in its 2024 televisions.
The platform has once again received certification from Common Criteria (CC), a global standard for evaluating the security of IT products, as stated in a press release from Samsung. This means that even smart TVs will have enhanced protection going forward.
With the CC certification, Samsung Knox is expected to excel in its key features. The first one is Tizen OS Monitoring, where the platform actively identifies potential hacking threats in real time at the core of Samsung TVs.
The second feature is Phishing Website Blocking, where Knox ensures that web pages are safe to browse without posing a risk to user data and privacy. Lastly, all personal data stored on the secure processor Knox Vault is guaranteed to remain safeguarded.
