Earlier today, insiders at SamMobile shared that Samsung is likely to announce its latest foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Z Fold6, at an Unpacked event scheduled for early July. Another source from South Korea also supports this claim, pointing to a potential event in early to mid July.

According to the report, this year’s Unpacked event is expected to occur approximately two weeks earlier than last year’s event on July 26. This places the potential date around July 12, with Paris rumored as the likely location. Samsung aims to launch before the Paris Olympics on July 26 to focus on the European market and compete with Chinese smartphone brands that have reduced their presence in the region.
Last year, the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 debuted internationally in San Francisco, USA about two weeks after their initial reveal in South Korea. There is speculation about a possible earlier launch event this year, as supply chain sources suggest final product testing will occur in April, well before the scheduled July launch date.
Furthermore, the report indicates that Samsung may not introduce any new foldable or rollable form factors this year, although the possibility of the Galaxy Ring’s introduction remains open.
