The fast-approaching Galaxy S24 Unpacked event on January 17 is creating a lot of buzz, and Samsung US is now accepting reservations for the upcoming trio. Even though no official specs have been revealed (other than a focus on performance, quality, and generative AI), this early bird promo is becoming a tradition for Samsung. They offered reservations for the S21, S22, and S23 series as well.
It’s a simple process – fill out this form with your name, email, and optionally, phone number, and receive $50 Samsung Credit when the Galaxy S24 trio launches. Note that the credit can’t be used to discount the phone’s price, but can be used to purchase accessories.
There’s no obligation to buy anything, no deposit, it’s just signing up for an email reminder and getting a small bonus for doing so. The page mentions “Reserve to get $50 in Samsung Credit for up to $1,020 in savings when you pre-order the newest phone from Galaxy.”
The $1,020 in savings includes trade-in credit and is likely achievable only with the priciest model, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. As the official pricing for the new phones hasn’t been revealed yet, it’s unclear what this means in terms of the final cost.
Unofficially, there have been reports that the Galaxy S24 and S24+ will be less expensive in the EU, while the S24 Ultra will have a higher base model cost but is expected to be cheaper for higher memory tiers. However, prices are rumored to remain the same in other regions.
Rumors also suggest that Galaxy S24 pre-orders in Korea will offer double the storage for free, a perk that was also available for S23 pre-orders. This is another reason to consider pre-ordering an S24 unit before open sales start at the end of January.
