Speculations about a more budget-friendly version of the Galaxy Fold have been circulating for a long time, dating back to the original launch of the Galaxy Fold in 2019. It appears that 2024 could finally be the year for the anticipated lower-priced Galaxy Fold device.

A recent report from WinFuture reveals import/export documents confirming limited production quantities for three devices with the codenames Q6, B6, and Q6A. It is believed that the first two represent the Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, while the third is expected to be the more affordable alternative, the Z Fold6.

Codename for Samsung’s rumored affordable foldable leaks

Currently, there are no specific specifications or details available, besides the codenames. However, based on the fact that last year’s Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 were codenamed Q5 and B5, it’s likely that Q6A is indeed the long-awaited and rumored more affordable Z Fold.
