As mentioned earlier, Sazgar Engineering has introduced its first electric vehicle, ORA 03, by Great Wall Motors (GWM). The company is currently selling two crossover SUVs by GWM in Pakistan, namely Haval H6 and Jolion. It’s worth noting that Sazgar has achieved several milestones in a short period, starting with the sale of CBU units of these cars and quickly transitioning to local assembly. In addition to assembling petrol-engine cars, the company has also launched a locally assembled hybrid variant of the Haval H6.
Moreover, the company is preparing to launch a locally assembled Haval Jolion hybrid, adding to the excitement in the local market. Returning to the ORA 03, its sudden launch and introduction have taken many by surprise. Despite little prior indication of Sazgar’s entry into the electric car market, these surprises are welcomed. The new EV will be competing with cars like MG4, leading to exciting times ahead.
