An insider from 91mobiles has shared what seems to be an early iPhone 16 Pro schematic, showcasing the familiar design with some minor tweaks. The leak includes precise measurements, hinting at a larger display. But first, let’s take a look at the leaked images.

The images reveal the iPhone 16 Pro featuring a Capture Button situated below the power button on the right side of the frame. This button resembles soft shutter buttons commonly seen on cameras. A gentle press will focus the camera, while a full press will capture a photo, a feature reminiscent of Sony phones from the past.

Furthermore, the leak discloses new dimensions of 149.6 x 71.4 x 8.4 mm, indicating a slightly larger and wider iPhone 16 Pro compared to its predecessor. This aligns with earlier reports suggesting a 6.3-inch screen for the upcoming model, an increase from the previous 6.1-inch display. The schematics also depict slim bezels, hinting at a potentially larger iPhone 16 Pro.

The decision to enlarge the smaller Pro variant this year could be influenced by design limitations. Rumors suggest that the iPhone 16 Pro may integrate the tretraprism telephoto camera from last year’s iPhone 15 Pro Max, a component that might not fit into the current iPhone 15 Pro.

Interestingly, this leak contradicts an earlier image leak in February that showcased a vertical camera arrangement.

With the official launch of the iPhone 16 series still months away in September, it’s important to approach each leak with skepticism.
