Sennheiser has introduced its new Accentum series of headphones in India, starting with the premium Accentum Plus model.
The Accentum Plus headphones are full-sized and come in two colors, black and white with beige accents. They feature a soft touch finish and have a concealed yoke design for length adjustment. The outer surface of the earcups is touch sensitive for gestures and the headphones can be folded flat for easy carrying, with a protective zip storage case included.
These headphones are equipped with large 37mm dynamic drivers and support Bluetooth 5.2, as well as codecs like aptX Adaptive. They also come with active noise cancellation and a transparency mode. The Smart Control app allows users to customize the sound with a 5-band EQ and multipoint connectivity automatically switches between paired devices.
Sennheiser claims that the Accentum Plus headphones offer 50 hours of battery life with ANC enabled and can provide up to 5 hours of use after just a 10 minute charge from flat. They also support audio over USB for simultaneous charging and audio/microphone functionality using the provided USB-C cable.
The Sennheiser Accentum Plus is priced at INR 15,990 and will be available on Sennheiser’s website and Amazon India starting February 14. Customers who pre-order will receive a discount of INR 1000.
