The official Canadian branch of Best Buy has just revealed the DualSense V2 controller from Sony, complete with product images and specifications. While the design appears unchanged in the images, the specs show a significant improvement in battery life.

According to the listed specs, the DualSense V2 boasts 12 hours of battery life, a significant improvement over the current generation’s 5 hours.

The other features remain the same – including the built-in mic, haptic triggers, headphone jack, and touchpad. The controller is priced at CAD 90, which is approximately $67, the same as the current controller.

It seems that Best Buy may have revealed the controller prematurely, so we may have to wait a bit longer before we can actually purchase the updated controllers, but it shouldn’t be much longer now.
