In 2016, T-Mobile introduced T-Mobile Tuesdays, a program providing complimentary items to its customers without any requirements other than being a T-Mobile customer. Today, the carrier is significantly expanding this to be an everyday all-day program. Say hello to Magenta Status, a program resembling a rewards program but offering all benefits right from the start for everyone without any complicated requirements, according to T-Mobile’s own words.

One thing to note is that Magenta Status applies to “T-mobile postpaid, including small businesses and most T-Mobile prepaid customers”. No sub-brands, and it’s uncertain why only “most” prepaid customers and who exactly is eligible. But if you aren’t on a prepaid plan and are with T-Mobile, you are all set.

You’ll receive a 15% discount across Hilton’s 22 worldwide brands and automatic Hilton Honors Silver status, which usually requires 10 nights the previous year in a Hilton hotel. Silver perks include free Wi-Fi, a fifth night free on reward stays, as well as a comprehensive spa discount.

Additionally, if you rent a car from Dollar or an EV from Hertz and need to return it to “nearly all airports across America”, you don’t need to refill the tank or the charger before heading to the airport. Simply return the keys and you won’t be charged extra for not refilling it.

You’ll also receive a 25% discount on tickets to “some of the hottest shows at Live Nation amphitheaters and select clubs and venues” throughout the year, opening up deals on more than 8,000 shows across 120 venues. With T-Mobile Reserved Tickets, you can also gain exclusive access to some of the best seats available.

Every month, you’ll have the chance to watch a movie for $5 per person for everyone on your TMo account. This month, it is Bob Marley: One Love. Additionally, you’ll gain entry to Club Magenta VIP lounges at “the best sports and entertainment events” such as the F1 Las Vegas GP, Lollapalooza, and the Austin City Limits Music Festival.

T-Mobile Tuesdays will remain available, and everything will be managed through T Life, a new app designed to assist you in keeping track of your perks and benefits. This will be rolled out to all customers as a free automatic update to the existing T-Mobile Tuesdays app.
