Earlier this month, Tecno made an announcement that it would be showcasing a new Pova phone, a robot dog, a flagship laptop, and an AR gaming set at MWC 2024 in Barcelona, Spain. Now, we have learned that the brand will also be introducing its new “AI-enhanced” imaging system at the upcoming MWC event, called Tecno PolarAce.
Tecno explains that while mobile imaging systems have advanced, traditional SoCs do not have the necessary computing power to provide exceptional videos, especially in low-light conditions. The current solutions struggle to produce high-quality footage smoothly and often lack full-scene HDR capabilities. Tecno aims to tackle these challenges with the PolarAce Imaging System.
PolarAce marks Tecno’s first foray into imaging systems with an independent chip and AI technology to redefine videography capture in the industry. The system will premiere in the upcoming Camon 30 series, offering a new level of mobile video imaging to users worldwide.
