Polestar, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, is owned by Geely, the same company that also owns Meizu. Previously, Volvo held 48% of Polestar’s shares but recently withdrew ahead of the launch of the Polestar 4.

Just in time for the release of the Polestar 4, the company is planning to launch a smartphone that will complement the upcoming EV. A recent listing on TENAA provides insight into the Polestar smartphone.

The Polestar phone appears to be a rebranded Meizu 21 Pro, with identical design and specs. The only difference is the Polestar logo on the back. Despite the similarities, the Polestar phone may offer additional features related to Polestar’s vehicles.

It is unclear if this is a one-time endeavor or if Polestar intends to continue this product line, especially considering Meizu’s exit from the smartphone business to focus on AI advancements.
