After testing the Oppo Find X7 Ultra in our office, we have completed the battery life test. While we continue working on the rest of the review, we wanted to share the endurance numbers.
The Oppo Find X7 Ultra is equipped with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, which is designed to be more efficient with a 4nm node compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Paired with a 5,000mAh battery, the Find X7 Ultra is on the heavier side at 221g, but the capacity strikes a good balance, even though it’s slightly less than the 5,400mAh unit found in the OnePlus 12.
In our active use test, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra achieved a score of 12:47 hours, with nearly 28 hours of talk time, 16:45 hours of video playback, and almost 13 hours of browsing. However, the gaming endurance fell short at 6 hours and 42 minutes, trailing behind other Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phones like the iQOO 12 and vivo X100 Pro, despite having a smaller capacity.
