We recently put the Galaxy S24 – Samsung’s 2024 compact flagship – through our battery testing. With a 4,000 mAh battery, this year’s smallest S-series phone achieved an impressive 12:07-hour active use score, surpassing its predecessor. Our review unit is equipped with Samsung’s Exynos 2400 chip, but we hope to compare it with a Snapdragon unit in the future.

The S24 posted a 23:26-hour talk time endurance, falling short of the Galaxy S23 and S23 FE models. The browser test revealed a 9:46 hours runtime, slightly better than last year’s model.

Video playback endurance improved significantly to 17:46 hours – almost 4 hours more than the Galaxy S23 and surpassing the S23 FE and Google’s Pixel 8. Gaming endurance also saw a slight bump to 7:34 hours, making Samsung’s latest compact flagship offering quite impressive.
