Infinix first showcased the Hot 40 series, which includes the Hot 40i, in early December. Now, the Hot 40i has been introduced in India as the successor to the Hot 30i.

The Hot 40i features a 6.6-inch 720×1612 90 Hz LCD display, the Unisoc T606 SoC, 8GB of RAM with support for 8GB of virtual RAM, 256GB of expandable UFS 2.2 storage, dual SIM support with a triple slot, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button, IP53 rating for dust and splash resistance, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

On the back, you’ll find a single 50 MP f/1.6 camera, along with a 0.08 MP decorative auxiliary lens. For selfies, the phone is equipped with a 32 MP f/2.2 snapper with an LED flash. The device runs on Android 13 with XOS 13, and there are no guarantees for updates.

The Infinix Hot 40i will be available on February 21 from Flipkart in Starlit Black, Palm Blue, Horizon Gold, and Starfall Green. The regular price is INR 9,999, but there is a special launch price of INR 8,999.
