The vivo Y100t was introduced today in China. With a 64 MP camera, 120W charging, and a design identical to the iQOO Z8, released in China in August 2023, this phone is nearly indistinguishable from its counterpart with the only variation being the inscription on the back, now labeled “vivo” instead of “iQOO”. Both devices are even priced the same.
The Y100t features a 6.64” LCD with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The phone comes equipped with a Dimensity 8200 chipset, 8 GB or 12 GB RAM, and 256 GB or 512 GB storage. The rear cameras are 64 MP + 2 MP, with a 16 MP selfie shooter positioned behind a punch hole.
The Y100t is being promoted as an alternative to the Y100i and Y78t, and it boasts the fastest charging of all, offering 120W for the 5,000 mAh battery. The phone comes with OriginOS 3 pre-installed.
The vivo Y100t will be available in White, Blue, or Black and will go on sale in China on February 28. The price will be CNY 1,499 ($210/€190) for 8/256 GB, CNY 1,699 ($235/€220) for 12/256 GB, and CNY1,899 ($265/€245) for 12/512 GB.
