Realme will be launching the 12x in India next week on April 2 at 12 PM local time. The phone was first released in China last week. The anticipation for its arrival in India is high, and Realme has disclosed that the device will be priced at less than INR 12,000 ($143 or €133 based on current exchange rates).

A reputable source has leaked information indicating slight variances between the Indian and Chinese models of the 12x. The Indian version will offer 45W wired charging, in contrast to the 15W available in China.

If the leak is accurate, the Indian 12x will also be marginally thinner and lighter than its Chinese counterpart, although these differences may not be noticeable in everyday use.

Realme touts the 12x as an “entry-level 5G killer,” offering impressive features at an affordable price point. The phone is equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100+ SoC, a 120 Hz FHD+ display, and dual speakers. Additionally, it sports a 6.67″ LCD screen, 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, a dual rear camera system (50 MP main, 2 MP depth sensor), and an 8 MP selfie camera. It runs on Android 14 with Realme UI 5.0.
