The OnePlus Nord CE4 was recently launched in India and according to the company, it is selling very well, with the best first day of sales in the ₹20-25K segment on Amazon India this year. However, there are some concerns.
A recent poll shows that there are many alternatives in the same price range that consumers prefer over the Nord CE4. Even with potential price drops, only 25% of voters are in favor of the Nord CE4.
Interestingly, twice as many people are considering other models such as Pocos or the Nothing Phone (2a) instead. Availability is limited to India for now, but even if it launches in Europe, it might not have a more competitive price. Nord phones are hardly seen in North America, apart from occasional models like the Nord N.
Despite early bird offers and discounts, some consumers were not swayed by the free Nord Buds 2r or the ₹1,500 bank discount. Many are now looking forward to the rumored OnePlus Nord 4, which could potentially offer a more appealing option than the CE4. OnePlus will need to maintain the strong sales of the CE4 in the coming days.
