The successor to last year’s Oppo A2 Pro, the Oppo A3 Pro, is set to launch later this week as Oppo announced the official launch date. The mid-range device is scheduled to debut on Friday, April 12 at 2:30PM Beijing time. Early reservations for the A3 Pro are already open on Oppo’s official online store and other retailers like JD.com, Tmall, and Douyin, where interested buyers can secure their spot and receive early delivery.
Oppo has hinted that the A3 Pro will come with some form of ingress protection, up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, and will be available in three official colors – Azure, Pink, and Mountain Blue, with the last two featuring a vegan leather back.
Tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked specs for the A3 Pro, confirming that the device will have an IP69 rating, providing protection against high-pressure water jets (up to 100 bar) and steam cleaning, as well as being dust-tight. This is significant as mid-range devices usually do not come with such a high IP rating.

Rumored specs for the A3 Pro also include a curved 6.7-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, a 5,000 mAh battery, and a 1/2-inch 64MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture.
In recent news, the device has appeared on Geekbench with the identifier PJY110. The benchmark confirms the Dimensity 7050 chipset and 12GB of RAM, as well as revealing that the device will run on Android 14 out of the box.
It achieved a score of 904 points in the single-core test and 2,364 points in the multi-core test.
