Revealed by the renowned source Digital Chat Station, a new leak discloses some of the specs for the upcoming Huawei P70 series. Given that the Huawei P60 series was released in March of last year, it’s likely that the P70 family will hit the market in the next two months.

Huawei P70 series to come with a 6.7-inch screen and 50MP main cam with variable aperture

According to the post, the front of the device will feature a quad-curved OLED panel, boasting a 1.5K resolution and a 6.7-inch diagonal. The post is a bit difficult to interpret due to the machine-translated Chinese, but it suggests that the handsets may come equipped with two front-facing stereo speakers.

In addition, the three rear cameras will be arranged in a unique triangular formation. The primary camera is rumored to be OmniVision’s 50MP OV50H shooter, complete with variable aperture and a 1/1.3″ sensor size with 1.2µm pixels.

To power all of this hardware, a high-density 5,000 mAh battery will be utilized, and based on previous leaks, it is likely that the Kirin 9010 chip will be at the core of both devices. An impressive upgrade to the ultrawide camera is also anticipated.
