According to a recent report, the vivo X Fold3 was anticipated to be the first foldable device featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. However, new information from a leakster now indicates that it will be the X Fold3 Pro model that will be equipped with the latest Qualcomm chip. The non-Pro version, known simply as X Fold3, will instead come with the previous flagship SoC.
The Pro variant will also boast a camera setup comprising a 50 MP main sensor, 50 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64 MP telephoto lens with a periscope design. On the other hand, the regular X Fold3 will forego the advanced aperture and opt for a more conventional telephoto camera.
The vivo X Fold3 is set to feature three 50 MP cameras – a main, ultra-wide, and telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom capability, while digital zoom is said to go up to 40x. The device will maintain its slim design and lightweight build, positioning it as the thinnest foldable available in the market.
Anticipated to launch later this month, these phones may be unveiled alongside the rumored vivo Pad 3 and Pad 3 Pro tablets, about which little information is currently available. Vivo has not yet addressed any of these speculations.
