Reports indicate that Xiaomi may introduce the 14 Ultra flagship with a new camera setup that retains a familiar design. Another source has suggested that the phone will likely have a bright f/1.63 aperture and is expected to be unveiled at the end of February.

It is anticipated that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be revealed at MWC 2024 in Barcelona alongside the international launch of the 14 and 14 Pro. The company has already confirmed its participation in the conference, where it will showcase its new home devices and potentially unveil the Xiaomi SU7 electric vehicle.

Rumors have been circulating about the variable aperture on the 14 Ultra for some time. It is said to feature a two-stop lens that can switch between f/1.6 and f/4.0, similar to the setup on the 14 and 14 Pro. Additionally, the phone is rumored to come with an LYT-900 sensor by Sony, which is a 1”-type platform.

Xiaomi has also reportedly certified a camera kit for the 14 Ultra, which may also serve as an external battery to significantly extend the phone’s battery life. Official confirmation of these details is expected to come with the official announcement next month.
