In our previous blog post, we put together a review and list of the top used motorcycles under a 1 lac PKR budget. This time, we are narrowing it down even further to a 50k PKR budget. According to our Pakwheels data, the majority of buyers are looking for motorcycles in this budget range. Keep in mind that it may be challenging to find a bike in good condition at this price point, but it should still serve your basic transportation needs.
Within this budget, depending on the bike’s condition, you could potentially find a well-maintained 2019 model or a decent 2020-21 model. United is a well-known local brand that manufactures 70cc and 125cc bikes inspired by Honda. They dominate the Chingchi market, with every other Chingchi on the road proudly displaying the ‘United’ brand name.
United brands itself as the top local motorcycle brand in the market. While its quality may not match that of Honda CD70, it is reliable for everyday commuting. It utilizes a 78cc single-cylinder OHC 4-stroke engine, similar to most 70cc bikes mentioned here, except for the CD70.
Suggested Price: 45,000-50,000
Metro is another well-established brand known for producing Honda CD70 and CG125 lookalikes like the MR70 and MR125 at a fraction of the cost. Depending on the model’s condition and mileage, you could find a 2019-21 MR70 within a 50k budget.
Metro gained attention when they introduced their range of Electric Scooters, making them one of the leading two-wheeler EV sellers in Pakistan. However, the EVs are out of the 50k budget range, so the MR70 remains the best affordable option from Metro.
Suggested Price: 40,000-50,000
Road Prince has a long-standing reputation as one of the most popular motorcycle brands in Pakistan, after Atlas Honda. They offer local 70cc and 125cc bikes and are investing in the EV market like Metro. You can find a good deal on a 50K RP70 after some market exploration. Road Prince is well-known among mechanics, with readily available spare parts bearing their brand name.
Suggested Price: 42,000-50,000
Honda is the leading two-wheeler company in Pakistan in terms of production, build quality, market resale value, and brand reputation. Their most affordable brand-new bike, the CD70, comes with a price tag of RS 157,900, making it difficult to fit within a 50k budget unless you opt for a much older 2009-12 model.
Finding a well-maintained 2009-12 model CD with genuine parts can be a great bargain. The CD surpasses other 70cc bikes in terms of performance, suspension, and fuel efficiency, with minimal vibrations and noise from its 72cc OHC engine.
While the benefits are clear, locating a quality CD within a 50k budget will require time and effort.
Suggested Price: 47,000-50,000
Hi-speed is a local manufacturer in Pakistan offering 70cc bikes. Unlike United and Road Prince, Hi-speed creates bikes with unique indicators, headlights, seats, and tail lights, giving them a distinctive look. Their build quality matches that of United and Road Prince, with impressive pick-up and acceleration due to the 14/38 teeth sprocket set, similar to CG 125.
Suggested Price: 47,000-50,000
Unique is another well-regarded Chinese brand producing 70cc motorcycles in Pakistan, particularly popular in cities like Rawalpindi, Multan, and Karachi. Unique offers distinctive designs for headlights, taillights, and indicators, along with a 78cc single-cylinder OHC engine capable of reaching speeds of 80-85 Km/h at full throttle. Within a 50k budget, you may find a 2018-2020 model Unique UD70.
Suggested Price: 40,000-50,000
Other 70cc brands from 2018-2021 models that could be considered within the 50k price range:
- Ravi
- Dhoom DYL
- Treet
- Super Star
- Imperial
- Hero
- Ghani
