Haval Jolion has made a strong position among hybrid SUVs in Pakistan. Its bold fascia, futuristic design, and pocket-friendly fuel economy are the its unique selling propositions. Here, we reviewed the Haval Jolion HEV from Umer Butt’s garage. Let us find out what are the highs and lows of this SUV from the perspective of its owner.

Purchase Decision

Previously Umer has a wide range of cars. He is a real SUV fanatic which led him owning a Fortuner, Revo, and an MG too. But as we have told you zillionth of times that these bonkers are fuel sippers. Also, if you have a high city travelling frequency, hybrid will always be your better partner that a a gasoline car. That is why Umer and his brother wanted to switch to a hybrid. Among which Toyota Cross was an option but rejected due to its limited cabin space. Lastly, Haval was selected.

Haval Jolion Overview

Since the launch of the gasoline-powered Jolion last August, the local manufacturer has also unveiled the hybrid version, which has the same general specifications and features but immediate torque hybrid technology. This HEV can alternatively be viewed as a little redesign of the previous Jolion gasoline version.

Specs and Features

Without doubt, Haval has the widest range of driver assistance features like blind spot monitoring, auto braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise, heads up display, and others. It surely depends on a driver’s mindset that which features he like and which he didn’t. Umer doesn’t like many of its assistance features due to unwanted interference leading him to turn many of these.

Fuel Economy

Umer shared that the major reason of buying Haval Jolion was its company claimed fuel economy. Keeping this car for around 12 days and running for it for 3000 kms, he is unable to take the same company acclaimed average.Within city he has taken 16 km/L and on highways it remained up to 13 km/l. Otherwise he seemed totally impressed by its power, pick, and silent moves.

Umer further appreciated its panoramic roof, seats adjustability, spacious cabin, and bold fascia. However he somewhat disliked the rear view of Haval Jolion HEV.

He mentioned in the last that he intends to buy its bigger version, the H6 in future for its comparatively more appealing exterior and roomy cabin.
