After 8 years, United has finally introduced the second generation of its United 100cc scooty, and it’s impressive, to be honest. It got a refreshed design and new tech. Priced at 270k, this vehicle should find a sweet spot in the list of anyone looking for a reliable scooty, both men and women, specifically an ICE scooter.
Here’s a first-look review:
2nd Generation United 100cc Scooty
Unlike Pakistani motorcycle brands like Atlas, Yamaha, and Suzuki, which just changed the stickers of their motorcycle and called it a new model, United has done a proper generation upgrade in their scooty, which is seriously impressive. This progress is mainly due to the fact that scooters are manufactured in China. If it were produced in Pakistan, we would likely have seen the same model for ten decades, with only a yearly sticker change every year.

Design and Changes
This design indeed looks very cool and modern. Compared to the previous generation, this one uses curves and angular lines, that is the design language of literally every modern vehicle coming in 2024.
Unlike the previous generation, which was based on all halogens, this generation’s headlights are also halogen, but you get an LED DRL lightbar on the handlebar, which looks super hot. The back is also fine—not so unconventional, but definitely like a modern scooter. Plus, there are big metal grips for back passengers, or you can fit a whole carry box on that grip for long tours, which we don’t suggest doing on this United 100cc scooty.
Instrument Cluster and Seat
We must adore how pretty its instrument cluster is. It’s just a straight talk, no-nonsense instrument panel. You see some Chinese aftermarket digital speed-o-meters; they are all-show, no-go, and do everything great besides their primary purpose.
This second-generation United 100cc scooty’s instrument cluster is very logically laid out and shows all the essential items on the front.
You get time, RPMs, speed, trip A, trip B, and fuel gauge, and that’s what you need from a 2-wheeler low-budget scooty that runs on petrol. It looks simple as well, with no fancy things as you get in a cheap Chinese aftermarket speed-o-meter from Macleo Road.
The seat is leather-covered—of course, it’s artificial leather, but it looks premium. It’s also double-stitched in white thread. The seat comfortably fits about two people, but it’s Pakistan, so you can fit up to three people on it, but we don’t recommend doing that.
Engine and Tech
It’s a 100cc forced-air-cooled engine with a CVT transmission. The engine displacement in the scooty is 97cc, producing 6.43 hp at 8500 RPMs and 6.5 N.m at 5500 RPMs.
If you don’t know, forced air cooling means there’s a fan located outside the engine bay that directs cool air to the engine to help it cool down. It’s because, in this scooter, the engine is positioned in a way that natural airflow cannot reach it.
