The Neo9 lineup from iQOO has included the Neo9 and Neo9 Pro, but now a third member seems to be in the works. According to a reliable tipster on Weibo, vivo’s sub-brand is developing a new Neo9 model, potentially named Neo9 Racing Edition.

Expect a 6.78-inch flat touchscreen with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 2160 Hz pulse width modulation. The camera setup will feature a 50 MP main shooter, described as a decent mid-range option. It’s safe to say that flagship-level camera performance might not be present.

Rumors suggest that the Racing Edition will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, potentially making it one of the first devices to feature this new SoC. It will offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, as well as 120W fast charging support. Look out for its official unveiling in China next month.
