vivo is preparing to release the V30 series in India – the vivo V30 and the upcoming vivo V30 Pro. There is no official release date yet, but local retailers have started displaying “Coming soon” posters in their stores. It appears that the V30 Lite will not be released.

The V30 was announced earlier this month with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and three 50MP cameras – two on the back (main + ultra wide) and one on the front (with a wide 21mm lens with autofocus). The phone features a 6.78” 120Hz 10-bit AMOLED display with 1,260 x 2,800px resolution and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W wired-only charging.

The vivo V30 Pro is still secretive, but leaks have provided some information. The phone will be powered by the Dimensity 8200 instead, paired with the same 6.78” display and 5,000mAh battery. The Pro model will add a fourth 50MP camera, a telephoto (focal length unknown).

What’s more, the Pro model will be the first in the vivo V series to feature Zeiss lenses, typically reserved for more expensive models. According to reports, this will include Zeiss Style Portrait modes: Cine-flare, Cinematic, Biotar, Planar, Distagon, and Sonnar. It will also have Zeiss video modes such as Zeiss Natural Color and Cinematic Video Bokeh.

While the launch date for India has not been confirmed, the company has officially announced that the V30 and V30 Pro will be released in Thailand on February 28. Since Indian stores are already displaying posters, the local release should happen soon as well.
