The vivo V30 has been officially released and is now making its way into international markets. This phone is equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and a large battery. It shares its design with the vivo S18 but comes with significant camera enhancements.
The V30 boasts a 6.78” AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1260p and a peak brightness of 2,800 nits. The curved panel houses a fingerprint scanner.
Powered by a Qualcomm chipset built on the 4 nm process, the vivo V30 features a 2.63 GHz octa-core CPU and Adreno 720 GPU. It comes in four variants – 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB, 12/256 GB, and 12/512 GB.
The vivo V30 is the first global phone to feature the 50 MP OmniVision OV50E sensor, which is 1/1.55” in size and is used for the main camera. The ultra-wide-angle also has a 50 MP sensor with autofocus. Another 50 MP camera with autofocus is located at the front for selfies.
One major upgrade the vivo V30 brings over its predecessor is a larger 5,000 mAh battery with 80W FlashCharge, making it vivo’s thinnest phone with such a power cell – just 7.5 mm thin at its base.
The vivo V30 runs Funtouch 14, based on Android 14, and is promised to provide a “50-month smooth experience”, indicating vivo’s commitment to supporting the phone for at least 4 years.
The vivo V30 is available in four different colors, each with a unique finish. The Bloom White version features a 3D Petal Pattern; the Waving Aqua has a Rippling Magnetic Particle effect; the Lush Green changes colors, and the Noble Black has Fluorite AG Glass.
The phone will soon be available in over 30 markets, including India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Pakistan, Egypt, and the UAE. Details about availability, pricing, and specifications will be announced later for each market.
