vivo’s latest X Fold3 series brings a sleeker and lighter design compared to the 2023 model (vivo X Fold2), along with notable enhancements to the camera and battery. This series includes both vanilla and Pro models for users to choose from.
At just 219g, the vivo X Fold3 is the lightest horizontal inward foldable phone, surpassing even the Honor V Purse at 214g. This weight is lighter than many traditional bar phones like the iPhone 15 Pro Max (221g) and the Galaxy S24 Ultra (232g), as well as other foldables like the Galaxy Z Fold5 (253g). The previous X Fold2 weighed 279g and measured 12.9mm when folded, while the X Fold3 is slimmer at 10.2mm.
Both models feature the same displays – an 8.03″ inner screen with 2,480 x 2,200px resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a 6.53″ cover display with 1,172 x 2,748px resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. These displays offer peak brightness up to 4,500 nits, a significant improvement over the X Fold2 displays.
The Pro model of the vivo X Fold3 features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a custom vivo V3 imaging chip, available in configurations of 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

The main camera of the Pro model features a 50MP ultra-sensing camera with a larger sensor than the X Fold2, along with a 64MP telephoto module and a 50MP ultra wide-angle module. The vanilla X Fold3 uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and also offers impressive camera capabilities.
