According to the latest poll results, the majority of people do not regularly use AI in their daily lives. Some have dabbled in it briefly out of curiosity, but only a third of voters find occasional use for it, with a mere 15% using AI on a daily basis.
Interestingly, gaming was found to be the least common use for AI among respondents, despite advancements like Nvidia’s DLSS technology in the GeForce 20 series. The most popular application of AI was chat bots, used for quick answers, code writing, email editing, and more.
The second most common use was image generation, where AI can create custom wallpapers for free. Additionally, AI tools for upscaling and deblurring images and videos were popular choices.
Translation, transcription, and text-to-speech were also cited as common uses for AI, leading the “Other” category to claim the third spot due to the expansive nature of AI tools available.
With the rapid advancements in computing power and the ever-growing field of computer science, AI continues to be a hot topic in the tech industry. Many companies, both established and new, are exploring innovative applications for AI technology, ensuring that AI remains a prominent force in the future, despite the possibility of another AI winter.
