The Mobile World Congress for 2024 has concluded with numerous exciting releases and hints of upcoming technology. If you missed out on the daily updates, or simply need a refresher, you can visit our MWC 2024 wrap-up post for a brief overview of the events.
Which new device from this year’s congress caught your eye? Let’s take a poll. We’ve categorized them into flagships, mid-range, entry-level devices, and miscellaneous.
While many manufacturers unveiled their flagship devices in December or January, some chose to wait until the MWC. Though some of these devices are not entirely new, we’re considering them as newly available globally.
Aside from the glamour and advanced technology found in flagship devices, the mid-range category proved to be quite intriguing this year. While phones priced at €1,500 or more boast impressive hardware, most consumers are not willing to spend that much. However, even those shopping in the mid-range segment can now enjoy features like a flip foldable design, an LTPO display, or a 108MP camera.
The entry-level market also offers some interesting options. From devices with large speakers to those with 70W fast charging, high refresh rate AMOLED displays, and even common 5G connectivity, there’s a lot to explore.
Lastly, we have the miscellaneous category for products that don’t quite fit elsewhere. MWC 2024 witnessed the debut of a smartwatch, more information on a smart ring, and new AR/XR products. While these may not have their own dedicated category, they are certainly worth mentioning.
