Xiaomi has officially announced that the flagship Xiaomi 14 series smartphones will be available outside of China later this month. The global premiere of the Xiaomi 14 series will take place on Sunday, February 25 in Barcelona, just ahead of the start of MWC Barcelona the following day. Based on the teasers, it is anticipated that the long-awaited Xiaomi 14 Ultra will make its debut.

Xiaomi 14 global debut set for February 25

According to the teasers, Xiaomi is expected to unveil its top-tier Xiaomi 14 Ultra alongside the more compact Xiaomi 14. Reports have indicated that the 14 Pro will, unfortunately, not be released outside of China.

The landing page on Xiaomi’s official website is hinting at “a new generation of Leica optics, reaching new heights,” which is likely the rumored wider variable aperture on the 14 Ultra’s main camera. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is rumored to feature four 50MP cameras with a Sony LYT-900 main sensor equipped with a faster f/1.6-f/4.0 variable aperture compared to the outgoing Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s f/1.9 – f/4.0 stop. The Xiaomi 14 series is expected to be accompanied by the Xiaomi Pad 7 Android tablet.
