After the global unveiling of Xiaomi’s Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra at MWC, a detailed release schedule for HyperOS has been revealed. HyperOS, Xiaomi’s new operating system built on Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and the Vela IoT platform, will first appear on the new Xiaomi 14 series, Pad 6S Pro, Watch S3, and Band 8 Pro.
Xiaomi has also confirmed a list of older smartphones and tablets that will receive HyperOS. The rollout schedule may vary by device and region, starting in the first half of 2024. More details are expected to be announced in the coming months, with the possibility of additional Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco devices being included in the list.
