The 2024 Cholistan Desert Rally concluded over the weekend, revealing the winners in both prepared and stock categories. Participants, including international competitors, navigated the lengthy race track in kilometers.
Prepared “A” Category
Zain Mehmood emerged victorious in this category, completing the race in 3 hours, 51 minutes, and 57 seconds. Jaffar Magsi secured the second position, finishing in 4 hours, 6 minutes, and 25 seconds, followed by Sahibzada Sultan in third place with a time of 4 hours, 9 minutes, and 1 second.
Prepared “B” Category
Asad Shadi Khel took the top spot in this category with a finish time of 4 hours, 14 minutes, and 31 seconds. Gohar Sangi claimed second place, completing the race in 4 hours, 27 minutes, and 41 seconds, while Irfan Mian secured third place with a time of 4 hours, 35 minutes, and 5 seconds.
Prepared “C” Category
Bewragh Mazari emerged as the winner in this category, crossing the finish line in 4 hours, 49 minutes, and 41 seconds. Falak Sher Khan secured the runner-up position, finishing in 4 hours, 55 minutes, and 18 seconds, while Dr. Haris Khan took third place with a time of 5 hours, 19 minutes, and 24 seconds.
Prepared “D” Category
Zafar Baloch secured victory in this category, completing the track in 4 hours, 42 minutes, and 4 seconds. Taj Khan Meher claimed the runner-up position with a time of 4 hours, 52 minutes, and 16 seconds, while Umar Iqbal Kanju finished third in 4 hours, 54 minutes, and 11 seconds.
Women Prepared
Maham Shiraz emerged as the winner in this category, crossing the finish line in 1 hour, 25 minutes, and 9 seconds. Dina Rohinton Shiraz secured the runner-up position, completing the race in 1 hour, 25 minutes, and 46 seconds.
Stock “A” Category
Bilal Choudhary claimed victory in this category, finishing the race in 2 hours, 16 minutes, and 14 seconds. M. Marwat secured the runner-up position with a time of 2 hours, 21 minutes, and 19 seconds, and Taimur Khawaja took third place, crossing the line in 2 hours, 21 minutes, and 42 seconds.
