If a man has unlimited financial resources, he can acquire and customize any type of vehicle. The personality that suits the above statement is Mark Zuckerberg, a co-founder and CEO of Meta.

He recently announced that he is adding two notable cars to his garage: a Porsche 911 GT3 with a touring package and a customized Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT for his wife, Priscilla Chan.

He collaborated with West Coast Customs to design this minivan. Mark Burg designed the minivan with electrically operated sliding doors and an extended frame. However, it’s not the first minivan to possess this feature. Toyota Century is a primary example of this option.

Zuckerberg’s Remarks On Customized Minivan

Mark Zuckerberg posted a picture of two cars on Instagram. One was a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT worth over $200,000, and the other was a modified version of a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, a minivan.

The man humorously complemented it with a “new quest” to design a minivan for his wife while having a manual GT3 for himself with the same light grey finishes that Porshe calls “Crayon.” Thus, this created a matching pair of his and her sets.

Porsche’s Electric Minivan

Porsche developed its first electric minivan in 2018. It was also known as the Porsche Vision Race Service, a concept/prototype car that had never been produced.

Furthermore, this futuristic-looking minivan could seat six people. So, if it had been produced, this family-friendly prototype vehicle would have been ideal for Zuckerburg and his wife, as they have three kids.

Before this prototype, this German company experimented with the idea of a van in 1980. The Porsche B32 was a modified version of the Volkswagen T3. The company installed a 911 Carrera engine and other significant upgrades in this GT3.

Cayenne Turbo GT Vs Vision Renndienst

The customized Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT has a traditional seat layout. This minivan has two seats in the front, two in the middle, and two or more in the third row. On the other hand, the Vision Renndienst has a central driver seat accompanied by two passenger seats, similar to those of supercars like the McLaren F1 and Gordon Murray T.50.

Prices

Porsche has a department called “Sonderwensutch,” which enables customers to modify their vehicles. However, this department did not change the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT minivan.

In addition, the entry-level model of the Porsche Cayenne starts at $90,000, and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT is worth over $200,000. According to the company’s spokesperson, Zuckerburg’s GT3 Touring had a starting price of $164,650. This touring vehicle is mostly road-focused and has incredible performance.

Furthermore, Porsche is planning to release an electric SUV in 2027 with six to seven seats. The exact seating arrangements of this SUV have not yet been confirmed.
